When it comes to wedding photography, we believe that the best images are the ones that are the most natural and our style can be characterized as documentary/photojournalistic (with a spattering of formal portraiture of course, because we all know mom needs a formal for her mantle).

We are very flexible when it comes to the printed products we provide. All are high-end and will last beyond your lifetime, but we know not all packages will be one-size-fits-all, and we enjoy creating customized packages for our couples.

We want you to feel like we are just another part of your bridal party! We’re really good at blending in with lots of different people (I’m an empath by nature and very good at either reflecting or re-directing other peoples’ energies). This is day is all about you and we’re going to make sure the energy reflects you and your fiances’ style.

Photography is one of the most important elements of your wedding. Because of that, we strive to ensure that you receive the personal care that you deserve in all areas of service; from helping you to create a timeline for your wedding day to creating the final products that will immortalize the joy and love you feel for one another. Not only are your photos for you to enjoy, but they’re an important part of your story!
Our Process
Pre-Wedding
If you are interested in booking us, we will set up a meeting to discuss the Wedding Photography vision you have for your big day, as well as go over details of the services we provide and packages we offer so that you are able to make an informed decision. If you go ahead with booking us, we will send over our contract and the invoice for the initial deposit.
Closer to your date, we will send you a questionnaire that will allow us to come up with a plan and discuss an initial timeline for your wedding day. However, we are here for you throughout as a sounding board, will help you get organized and feel secure about your plans!…. This is a crazy thing you’re planning and something you’ve never done before. But we have! So anything we can do to help, we are here for you!
Because our style is more photojournalistic, we want to make sure that you are super comfortable with us so that you feel free to be yourself in front of our lenses. We take that seriously and it’s our mission to get to know our couples before their big day. We have phone conversations, meetings and (if you’re local) 1 - 2 months before your wedding we try to treat you guys to dinner so that we can get a better feel for what makes you tick as a couple, your personality styles and the things that are really important to you - all so that we can make sure we are capturing your day in a way that is meaningful!
Pre-Wedding - Engagement Session
We provide all of our couples with a Complimentary Engagement Session. This allows you and your fiance the chance to get in front of the lens before your wedding day. Not everyone has gotten their photo professionally taken together - or at all for that matter, so this is a chance for you to see what it will be like during the Couples Portraits time of your wedding day. While it might seem like we’re going to make you into Ricky Bobby where you don’t know what to do with your hands, the prompts that I’ll provide and the suggestions I’ll make will help guide you while still allowing for your personalities to come out and your photos to feel natural.
Wedding Day - Getting Ready
During the Getting Ready Portion of your day, we are there to support you while we capture the beautiful details you’ve put together. We may make small suggestions for the sake of lighting, but otherwise we will be low-key witnesses, looking for and capturing candids of the emotional connections between you and the people you care about.
Wedding Day - Ceremony
The ceremony portion of your day is another time where we keep ourselves blended into the crowd. We make sure to position ourselves in a way that allows us to capture the candid reactions of both you and your fiance, as well as your family and friends, without getting in anyone’s way or making anyone feel uncomfortable.
Wedding Day - Formals
While we love us our candid photos, this is the time of the day where we take a little more control.
Family photos can sometimes (all the time) be like hearding cats. I’m not afraid to use my voice and gently, but firmly, heard your wonderful clowder to their positions. I keep things efficient, pay attention to the small details, but keep things flowing!
The portraits with you and your Bridal parties are a time for fun! You have some crazy ideas of shots you want to take? Let’s make it happen!
Your Couples Portraits are the one time of the day where you and your new husband/wife get to spend together alone (well, yes hi, I’m here too but don’t mind me). I like to allow you some time to just be. I’ll help guide you and make some small adjustments and suggestions. Don’t worry it won’t be a full on fashion shoot, but more of the relaxed portraits we’ve already gotten used to doing during your Engagement Session.
Wedding Day - Reception
This is our favorite part of the day! This is when everyone has gotten past the pre-ceremony gitters and let loose! Everyone is together now and so many fun and funny things happen! We’ll be right on the dance floor with your friends, sniping candids of your Dads crying during your Father/Daughter dance, and just hunting down the little moments that make for amazing memories!
Post- Wedding
After your wedding, we will edit all of your photos (you can expect at least 500 edited images). Once all of your images are ready, we will set up a viewing for you (either hosting you in-person or a Zoom call) where we’ll take a look at all of your photos and you’ll decided which package you would like (picking whatever photos you would like to have printed and how). You can expect all of your photos to be edited no later than 4 weeks after your wedding.
